Mindy

Send popups, new tabs, and helper windows where they actually belong

Fix in progress · Early access soonUpdated May 13, 2026

Mindy is a browser companion that intercepts misbehaving popups, login windows, and link hand-offs and routes them to the right tab, window, or profile — instead of letting tools spawn windows wherever they want.

A lot of web tools and apps still open links and popups in whatever window the OS feels like. OAuth flows land in the wrong profile, work links open in personal browsers, helper windows dock themselves where they break the rest of the UI, and modal popups quietly disappear behind the main window.

Mindy sits in front of those hand-offs. It watches how each link, popup, and helper window is being opened, applies the routing rules you set, and sends the window to the place that actually makes sense for that flow.

Mindy is in active fix-and-polish mode right now. There is no public download yet — this page is the canonical place to follow status, and the link below is the fastest way to be notified when an early build opens up.
